If you are looking for the perfect Halloween costume for a group, or a very popular character just for yourself, you will definitely want to consider a Peanuts gang Halloween costume.  A Charlie Brown costume or Snoopy costume would be awesome and a Woodstock costume would be fabulous!

I have always loved the Peanuts gang and one of my favorite shows to watch on Halloween is “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown.”  It has become a family tradition to watch Linus wait for the Great Pumpkin.

A great way to celebrate Halloween would be by wearing the Peanuts gang costumes!  In the past, it has been really difficult to find a Charlie Brown or Lucy costume.  About the only way you could have one is if you made it yourself.

The Peanuts Lucy Costume

Available for Adults (Sizes 6-16) or Children (Sizes 4-14)

This officially licensed costume includes the blue dress, a black wig and shoe covers.  If you happen to already have a pair of saddle oxfords, they would make a great finishing touch to wear with this costume instead of the shoe covers. The costume shown is the officially licensed Peanuts costume, but I have also included an alternative idea in case you cannot get that costume in your size.

If you are part of a group and you want Lucy to have a casual style dress that would compliment the alternative dress recommended for Sally below, I would recommend a light blue skater dress for Lucy like the one shown. You would probably wish to purchase a dark wig to go with the dress so you would actually look like Lucy.

Peanuts Linus Adult and Child Costumes (Sizes 7-10)

Linus is another beloved character from the Peanuts gang.  The Linus Costume includes the red shirt, shorts, the shoe covers and the infamous blue blankie that we all so fondly associate with Linus.  This would obviously be the easiest costume to put together in a hurry if you didn’t have time to wait.  Simply pair a red shirt with some shorts and grab a blue blanket.

Peanuts Sally Adult Costume

The Sally costume is much harder to find. It includes the dress and a face mask if you choose to wear it.

Since this costume is so hard to find, I am proposing an alternative for the Sally costume.  I would recommend a very simple pink dress like the one I have featured here.  It is inexpensive and simplistic like the real Peanut character costumes.

Peanuts Snoopy Adults, Children & Baby Costume

It is no surprise that there are a variety of Snoopy costumes.  Snoopy is extremely popular!   He is most likely the most popular of any of the Peanuts gang.

Peanuts Woodstock Costume

Woodstock is by far the most difficult to find and when you do find one, they are the most expensive.  Unfortunately, I do not have an easy alternative to recommend for a Woodstock costume like the Sally or Lucy costume alternatives.

The Peanuts Gang costumes would be a great selection for a group of friends who get together in advance to plan for a Halloween party.  They would truly be a lot of fun to wear and make a huge impact when you all show up dressed as everyone’s favorite Peanuts characters.  All adults and children recognize Snoopy and his friends and would, no doubt, love to have them at the party.  You could easily be the most popular guests in attendance.
