Keep Food Cold at Your Halloween Party

One absolutely fabulous idea for your Halloween party is an inflatable salad bar/cooler to keep any cold foods cold. When you go to the trouble of hosting a Halloween party (or any party for that matter), you want to put your foods out and forget about them.

This means finding a way to set out your cold foods and not worry about them going bad during the party due to lack of refrigeration. The solution? An inflatable cooler for your buffet table.

Inflatable Buffet Coolers

Inflatable buffet coolers come in different themes and colors so you are sure to find one that will work for your Halloween party. You can use them to keep things cold like:

  • Canned or bottled beverages
  • Salads
  • Dips
  • Vegetable platters
  • Fruit Platters
  • Cream desserts like pie, cake or mousse
  • Finger sandwiches that contain mayo
  • and so much more!

You can also get different sizes and shapes of the buffet coolers. Some are rectangle while others are round. Deciding on the table you intend to set it on first, will help when you shop for your buffet cooler. I like the round ones when I am going to serve only individual beverages in them. I prefer the rectangle shape when I will serve cold foods in it. It’s really up to you!

My Favorite Way to Use Buffet Coolers

If you prefer, you can always get a plain colored cooler (like white) and use it year around at all your parties by placing printed fabric or a printed table cloth in it and placing the ice on top. Then you can tuck the cloth around and under the white buffet cooler to hide it.

My favorite way to use buffet coolers is to place veggies, fruits and cheese chunks directly onto the ice (without a platter). This gives me a lot of leeway in the design. Then I place bowls of fruit and/or vegetable dips mixed in and around the food. It looks awesome and your veggies and fruit will stay crisp throughout your party.

Protect Your Guests

Food poisoning affects 1 in 6 Americans each year. Cold foods need to be kept at 40 degrees or less to keep dangerous bacteria from forming. Serving your cold foods on ice will accomplish this.
